I’m getting sick.  It sucks!  My head is filling with goo as I type… I’m sure there will be another round of sneezes soon.

So I wasn’t all stuffy at lunch… and it being “Taco Tuesday” and all I grabbed some tacos.  Now I remember a day when I would sit down and eat 12 tacos and ask for more… what happened to me?  I ate 6 today… remember Taco Tuesday… and I feel like I’m gonna explode!  Seriously!  So add the gut busting to the sinus flare-up and I’m not doin’ too well.

FYI:  Internets at the new house… YEAH!  Thank you Virgin Mobile… sure you’re a pay as you go group and you use the Sprint Network… but you are okay with me.  $40 Unlimited!  Tommy Likey!

So we are finally out of the “Rental” house… it’s nice not to have to lug stuff from there every night.  We used Sunday to bust it out.  Had a fire too… BIG fire.  Had lots of boxes and stuff we didn’t want anymore… lots of plastic too… LOTS of plastic!  Somewhere Al Gore stopped what he was doing… looked into the sky… and a single tear rolled down his face… as I burned it all.  Too bad.

So the New Year is in full swing.  I can already tell it’s going to be a long year.  But that’s ok… lots of stuff to do around the new house.

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas… and hope you are getting ready for an awesome new year!

So can I say that painting is a gigantic pain in the a$$!  We are still moving stuff from the other house and see no real end in sight.  Who knew we had as much crap as we do.

But I will say that the new house is looking good.  Still gotta put 1 light up in the kitchen and it’s done.  Gotta put a mirror up tonight so I can finish off the bedroom.  The guest room is almost done… will hang the blind in there tonight and it’s done.  Getting the trim in the living room painted today… the TV room gets a coat today too.  Will be excited when I finally get to sit on the couch and watch a little TV.

Still gotta post some pics… before and after of course…

Just wish I could do more in one day.  Every time I go to fix something I find I need a different part.  That means a trip to Lowes the next day at lunch to get the part… then I can actually fix it that night.  It’s aggravating… but things are starting to get there.

This weekend we’ll be moving some furniture… then I’m off work most of next week.  Should be able to knock a lot out then… plus we’ll have more help so that’s nice.  Just trying to get things finished up enough to have a nice dinner Christmas Night.

So glad that it is finally finished.  Let me tell you.. HUD was a pain in the ass!

If you still hadn’t figured it out we bought a house.  It was a HUD foreclosure.  Got an AWESOME deal too.  But all the restrictions and crazy time limits were driving me insane.  That’s why I’m just glad to get it DONE!

However… there is still a ton of work left to do… will post some before pics… then the after as soon as there is an after.
